Thank God for Baby Adoptions

Consider baby adoptions if you desire a child of your own, but are unable. There are so many children who need proper homes and upbringing, craving the love you have to offer. This is what being a parent is all about. It's not just about genetics folks. There is a whole lot more to consider on this subject.

Read about adoption from China.

The notion of offspring goes pretty standard with marriage. Although some couples choose to frantically avoid children at all costs, thousands of others can't wait to embark on parenthood. It's just an innate part of our physical make-up. I believe that most everyone desires to have their genes and family name carried on, but some don't care for, nor ready for the responsibility that goes along with raising children. Needless to say, you can't have one without the other. But, what about the abundance of couples who crave that parenthood status, only to find out that it's not possible for them? This can be heart-crushing, I'm sure. My good friend went through this very ordeal. I watched the toll it took on her as a woman. On the bright side of the coin, there are baby adoptions. This is an alternative to giving birth yourself, and believe it or not, some couples actually like it this way.

When we think baby adoptions, we often picture celebrities or someone of a high financial status. At least I do. I can't help but ponder images of Angelina Joline and her cute little Asian baby. Or what about Tom Cruise and his adopted children. Steven Spielberg also adopted several children if I recall properly. This is a wonderful option for those who cannot have offspring of their own. Consider it a second chance.

I will admit that I myself had certain hang-ups regarding baby adoptions. I was one of those who have always wanted my children to have my genes. I wanted to look at them and physically see myself in their features. Call this vanity or pride, but it's kind of a natural desire nonetheless. I think it's one that many parents or potential parents share. There's definitely something sacred and incomparable about it. As you become a parent though, you begin to realize genes aren't everything. Especially if you raise adopted children from infants, you will see a part of you in them. It's only natural, because you're the one who chose to be their teacher. Their mannerisms, speech, idiosyncrasies, and knowledge will come from you. They will even walk and talk like you. They will even crack jokes like you too! Maybe much more than you can begin to realize.

So don't delay one second longer and consider baby adoptions to start the best journey of your life. You will never regret it. Your life will change for the better and you will wonder one day as I do, why you didn't start baby adopting sooner.
